Does the cooling chip actually make it colder, or is it just airflow?
The chip actively absorbs heat from your skin on contact completely different from moving air. Think of the difference between standing in front of a fan and pressing an ice pack to your neck. The chip covers 624mm² and consistently drops surface temperature to 15.6°C, regardless of how hot the air around you is.
Can I use just the fan without the cooling chip?
Yes. Standard fan mode gives you up to 14 hours of 21,000 RPM airflow. Activate the cooling chip separately when you want the instant cold effect. Both systems work independently.
Is it loud?
At speeds 1–120, quiet enough for video calls. At full turbo (121–199), you'll hear the motor that's 9m/s at maximum capacity. The 199 custom speeds exist so you can find the exact sweet spot between power and silence.
How does the 3-in-1 design work?
The base detaches to switch between desktop and handheld. Attach the neck cord for hands-free cooling. All three modes use the same device nothing to buy separately.
